Totally random:

1. Copied from a 1,000 FList entries. :)

Second time's the charm! Yeah, I drew that dude from "Heroes" the first time I played. Eeeeeek! Nooooooo! Not if he was the last dude in the Universe. Not even in a fictional scenario. And I don't even know which of my answers could have possibly led to that conclusion. But, hey, who cares! The second time's jackpot! :)

Sigh. Why doesn't my office have a Jim?! To make matters worse, we've got someone who could be Dwight. Well, minus the extremes and one beet farm. How's that fair, I ask you?

2. FRIEND APPRECIATION

If there are one or more people on your friends list who make your world a better place just because they exist, and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.

This one I picked up from [info]arabian's LJ. I, honest to goodness, met people via internet who brighten up my days.

3. SAG Awards. Caught the opening (I Am An Actor) by accident and actually laughed. Am I wrong or is it a bit of a different atmosphere from those other bloated shows? Yeah, it's still all superficial, but it looks like much more fun, and the ones voting for you are actually the people who know about acting first-hand. There are much worse so-called accolades out there (I'm looking at you, Golden Goose Globes!).

4. I am writing the next chapter of that fic, I promise! I'm almost there and should send it on to the betas soon.

5. Yep, still at it (keeps me sane for some reason):

Seriously, it takes no time at all, now that I've got the templates. And it's a good break activity. :)

That's all, folks. :)

LOL. I think you missed an exclamation or two. :) I am, honestly, almost there with the chapter. The reason it's taking so damn long is that my real life is seriously kicking my ass with the busy. And I don't just want to post a half-baked job. But I'm getting close. :) And thank you!

Ahahaha. Yeah ok I know I shouldn't be laughing at that sitch, but the funny!

Oh, go ahead, laugh at my pain! LOL. Seriously, you'd think I'm joking, but I'm not. The guy in question has some frightening Dwight qualities. And not the more endearing ones, either. And as much fun as it is to watch someone like that blunder his way across the TV screen, in real life he is downright unbearable. I spend time every week wishing I could send him away on a secret CIA mission, get him a one-way plane ticket to that all-inclusive vacation in Mordor, or, at the very least, relocate his desk to the man's room. :)

You must relocate his desk to the basement a la Office Space!

Yikes, I can't believe people like that actually exist in the office. It's meant to be a parody, not rl!

I got Jim too...except I've never seen an episode of the show. Oh well, that means I won't have to fight with you!

I love the SAG awards, they are usually better. And the Golden Globes are such a joke on so many levels. It's sad.

Oh, cool, I don't have to share! LOL. You'd like a Jim, though. As boyfriends go, he is thoughtful, charming and a lot of fun to hang with. :)

Man, the Golden Globes as a show are bad enough, but the actual awards and the self-importance they radiate... Ridiculous, especially if you consider that they are given out by literally a gaggle of a few dozen people drunk on the notion of their exclusivity. I bet the mention of the "Hollywood Foreign Press Association" gets the giggles from the real foreign press. Or the domestic one, for that matter. :)

Happy belated birthday! Sorry to have missed your earlier post but I hope your day was extra special :)

1. I'm envious you got Jim. I got the guy from Gossip Girl first (what did I do wrong universe?). On my second try I got Chuck and that is who I'm sticking with. Who knows who I might get for my third try.

2. I have to copy/past your second entry because it is so true.

3. Didn't even know SAG was on, I saw only one or two movies this year but an award show based on your peers votes is quite sweet.

4. Oh Oscar! Love this one and your earlier ones. I miss this show.

Have you been watching Sarah Chronicles?

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes and kind words! *Hugs!* :)

LOL! I hear you! It's scary to contemplate. :) The questions were so vague, it was hard to tell how the end results were generated, anyway. I'm glad that you've the one you can live with, and you were wise to quit while ahead. LOL.

Oscar is hysterical. Such a dry, deadpan humor. One of many, many wonderful actors on that show. Sigh, I miss it, too! For that matter, I miss several shows I love. This strike needs to end. It just does. Of course it needs to end with the writers getting the deal they deserve, but I just pray and hope it'll happen sooner rather than later. :)

I haven't yet managed to watch the Sarah Connor Chronicles, but I've gotten enough recommendations from people (and Summer's in it!) that it is definitely at the top of my download list. Trouble is time right now. I get home and I'm either still working or dropping off with exhaustion. But I will definitely watch and soon. :)

Again, thank you so much! :)

Exactly, I don't mind the wait as long as the fair treatment is received in the end. I love how in The Office every character is unique and you just love them all. It is hard finding a show where you genuinely care about all the characters and they each have their moment to shine.

Summer is the main reason why I started to watch the Sarah Connor Chronicles. I hope you like it when you start watching :)
