And now we dance!
Made these completely on the post-The Office, "Dinner Party" high. I adore this show and thank goodness it found me! :)

So much fun!

I love the little details they put in, like how Angela's 'does not approve' look on Jan's low cut shirt. Doesn't the 'Serenity' font look very similar to Firefly/Serenity?

Jim's face after entering the work space was hilarious as well.

Oh, Hunter's song is catchy - that one night.

LOL. The little details make for a very satisfying second (and third and more) viewing. It's almost impossible to catch all of it when you see it first, because while you laugh at one thing, you are missing three that came after. :)

Oh, it's totally reminiscent of "Firefly/Serenity" font! And I don't even think it's a co-incidence, considering Joss is a very vocal fan of the show and even directed an episode of The Office. :)

You have an office and a work space? LOL. Somewhere Dwight was very envious. And man, Dwight and his attempt at making Angela jealous! LOL.

Can you write your e-mail down for me? Because I have so many questions. Oh, Jim, we all do! :)

Hunter's song! There are like 15,000 requests for an MP3 of it at the writers' blog site, I believe. LOL. It's so damn catchy, and the lyrics are downright hysterical. :) Oh, and his CD is titled "The Hunted"! Cracked me up.

You are right about the repeat watching because it was during the second time that I paid attention to Andy's reaction in the first bit where everyone was angry at staying overtime on a Friday.

Oh yes, Joss directed two episodes! I completely forgot about that connection :) A part of me was trying to wrap my head around the name 'Serenity' by Jan.

Dwight coming was perfect (bringing beet salad!) and it was nice to see Michael standing up for him even though it was in spite of Jan.

I hope they put that song up, I wonder who sang it. Andy's little harmonization cracked me up. 'The Hunted' - well, if Justin T's cd is called 'Justified' than 'The Hunted' is very appropriate ;)

I love Andy's reactions! Actually, they are all amazingly good at reacting in a myriad different ways. And Andy is so specifically transparent! LOL. Thought about it, I'm in. After like 10 seconds! :)

"Serenity by Jan" -- apart from the Joss connection -- is hysterical in and of itself. Jan is, perhaps, the least serene person in the Universe! :)

Michael standing up for Dwight, rebelling in his own quite way, was a joy to watch. And man, did he learn to be a passive aggressive while being with Jan! He used to be just aggressive. Guess what. White and eggshell white are exactly the same color. LOL.

Oh, yeah, they have put "Serenity by Jan" candles into the NBC on-line store! Hysterical. Also, apparently the song by Hunter is not a complete song. They wrote and recorded a short version, and it's available for download at Dunder Miffln Infinity. But you have to register to get it:

Love these! The "do not approve" is my absolute favorite. I love this show and I must admit, I'm still humming Hunter's song. It was that catchy. :)

LOL. I must say, I'm partial to the "Do Not Approve" myself. Such a particular expression on Angela's face! :)

"Hunter's" song was something else! The writers actually answered some questions about it in their Q&A session:

Q: We found out in the live blog that you two wrote the words to that incredibly bad but funny song by Hunter, and the music is by Todd Fancy of The New Pornographers ... is that who is singing it?

A: That is the great Todd Fancy singing... He did a bunch of different versions for us. I believe that a longer version with extra lyrics will be available on NBC.com sometime next week.

LOL, and I will totally download it! :)

I just watched this episode earlier today! It was good. I'm never a regular viewer of the show, but I do like it and this episode was particularly entertaining.

It really was. :)
It's strange, I watched the show pretty steadily for as long as it's been on, and I liked it but wasn't obsessed or anything. Suddenly I get the DVDs as a gift, have a marathon, and I'm all in. It kind of snuck up on me. :)
